That was the outcome of those talks.<br><br>I sincerely hope that the experience of previous failures, when the West refused to implement agreements it had itself supported, will not be repeated with regard to the Alaska understanding. <b>For now, however, unfortunately, our American partners are showing no interest in it.<\/b><br><br>What does concern us, however, is <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=QYjjOX4s5wY\">a statement<\/a> made recently by US State Secretary <b>Marco Rubio<\/b>, who conveyed during congressional hearings that the US was not in a position to act as a mediator because it supported Ukraine.
